COCA-Cola Games girls champion Adi Cakobau School had their thanksgiving celebration at their school in Sawani, Naitasiri on Sunday.Athletes and coaches were also given tokens of appreciation, including money, for being part of the team and bringing pride back to the school by defending the Coca-Cola Games title.

ACS head coach Toni Raboiliku said the athletes followed the program which was given to them which saw them reign victorious and defend the title.

“I believe the 2018 victory is a true re- flection of the hard work and perseverance of the 57 young athletes who made the ACS team and the same young women braved the storm to win the title,” he said.

He said there were moments when the athletes were tested in the competition but the team had faith in them and the team battled its way to the top in the domestic athletics competition.

“The success is the cultivation of your hard work, good diet, healthy habits, good discipline and the faith in Lord Jesus. I thank each one of you for your contribution towards the team,” he told the athletes.
