A MAN in his 30s is believed to be the latest road accident victim after an incident that occurred at the Field 40 junction in Lautoka last night.
This was confirmed by Police in a statement earlier today.
According to Police, it is alleged the victim’s car was hit by another vehicle driven by a 58-year-old man who was turning into the junction.
“He was rushed to the Lautoka Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival,” the statement said.
As investigations continue, the road death toll now stands at 32 compared to 31 for the same period last year.
