RUGBY fans can now secure their seats to the 2019 HSBC NZ Sevens as ticket sales begin tomorrow.
It will be a case of first in basis when tickets go on sale at midday tomorrow and fans are reminded to sign up online in advance for the best chance to secure seats at the two-day tournament.
The New Zealand leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series will return to Hamilton’s FMG Stadium from January 26-27.
New Zealand Sevens general manager Steve Dunbar said the crowd was a huge part of the success of the inaugural tournament in Hamilton and no doubt many of those people would be planning to return next year and do it all over again.
“We wanted to reward the most passionate fans, so we’ve tiered the ticket prices to ensure the first people to buy tickets on Monday will get the best chance at the best price,” Dunbar said.
For those who get in early, two-day adult passes start from $87 and kids 14 years old and under are $7 a day, and to access those tickets fans must sign up at www.sevens.co.nz.
“Everyone who signs up will go into our Sevens database and will be sent an email on Monday with a password and a link to buy tickets when they go live at midday. It’s important for fans to sign up in advance so they don’t miss out.”
