JACKS Nadi will miss the services of three key players in their much-anticipated 2018 Vodafone Fiji FACT semi-final against Labasa scheduled at Lautoka’s Churchill Park today.
Star strikers Rusiate Mateirerega and Napolioni Qasevakatini together with right back Afroz Ali copped two yellow cards each in the pool games and will be suspended in the semi-final.
Team president Javed Ahmed said the absence of those three key players would be a huge blow to their Fiji FACT campaign.
He said the side would expose their Under 20 players for the semi-final against the Babasiga Lions.
“We really miss the services of these star players but we have a few young talents in the team that can cover the vacuum,” Ahmed said.
“Labasa is the form team of the tournament and they will have all their star players for the semi-finals.”
The Nadi-Labasa game kicks off at 1pm.
