2018 Vodafone Fiji FACT: Logaivau earns Labasa ticket to the final

LABASA has a secured a spot in the Vodafone Fiji FACT final defeating Jacks Nadi 2-0 in the semi-final at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
Ilisoni Logaivau was the toast of the Babasiga Lions scoring a brace to earn his team a ticket in the final.
He scored the first goal in the 11th minute after he curled the ball from the edge of his box to beat Nadi goalkeeper Vereti Dickson.
Labasa led 1-0 at halftime.
In the fifth minute of the second half, Logaivau increased Labasa’s points from a corner kick.
He was unmarked in front of the goal mouth and headed the ball to the back of the net.
Labasa were clinical in attacks controlling the ball perfectly to produce the goods for their fans.
The jetsetters had themselves to be blamed for missing out easy scoring opportunities that could have changed the scoreline.
Nadi failed to find their rhythm while Labasa, on the other hand, dominated the possession and fully utilised their opportunities.
Meanwhile, the second semi-final between Rewa and Lautoka has just started.
