THE stage is set for the 2018 Kaila! Star Search competition that kicks off this evening.

The anxious yet determined 25 contestants are all ready to walk on to the stage and showcase their talent to Fiji.

Team consultant and recording artist Savuto Vakadewavosa said all contestants were amazing.

“Majority are singers and we have only one dance act this year,” Vakadewsavosa said.

“This is the 11th year going for Kaila! which is Fiji’s longest running talent competition.

“The first show is always exciting, overwhelming and nerve-wrecking at the same time.

“We are looking forward to tomorrow’s first round of competition.”

The show will be held at the Village 6 cinemas, and tickets are selling for $3, and can be purchased from the cinema’s ticket booth.
