2018 Junior Pan Pac: Fijian duo in women’s backstroke final

TWO Fiji swimmers will feature in the B final of the women’s 200 meters backstroke at the 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships underway in Suva.

Angela Tremain finished her race in a time of 2 minutes 33.96 seconds which saw her finishing 15th overall while in 16th position was Salam Kunatuba in a time of 2 minutes 45.05 seconds.

Both have secured a place in this afternoon final.

Fiji’s Temafa Yalimaiwai will also feature in the mens 100 meter butterfly BN final after finishing 16th in the heats today.

He broke the national record in the 100 metres freestyle in his age category last night.

The finals begin at 5pm at the National Aquatic Centre in Suva today.
