SUVA has secured a spot in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants final after defeating Labasa 1-0 in the semi-final at Lautoka’s Churchill Park this afternoon.

Striker Savenaca Nakalevu was the toast of his team for scoring the winning goal in the second half of extra time after both teams were locked nil-all after the full time.

Nakalevu was in a perfect position – unmarked in front of the goal mouth and completed a well-timed cross kick from Bruce Hughes to nail the winner.

Labasa tried its best to equalise but to no avail as the Suva defenders were rock solid in defence preventing the Babasiga Lions from scoring.

Meanwhile, Nadi and Ba will face-off in the second semi-final and the winner to meet Suva in the final tomorrow.
