FIJIANS can expect a 2018-2019 National Budget that will build on what Government has already created for the Fijian people to prosper.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama revealed this while addressing chiefs from Ba at Vuda yesterday, saying that the iTaukei community has benefited from his Government.

“Tomorrow night (tonight), my right-hand man — the Attorney-General and Minister for Economy — will deliver the 2018-19 budget address and while the details will have to wait until the budget announcement, I can tell you that we will again be building on the opportunities we have already created for the Fijian people to prosper and continuing the infrastructure development that has transformed our nation’s prospects,” Mr Bainimarama said.

“Tomorrow night (tonight), you will see a range of initiatives that will build on all of the opportunities we have provided in previous budgets. And they have, at their core, the basic values of the FijiFirst Government, which is to put our nation first by putting our people first.

“And unleashing their potential to help take Fiji forward — one nation, one people, with equality of opportunity for all.”
