THE Singapore government is working with the Fijian Government to develop and redesign housing locations owned by Government.
In his 2018-2019 National Budget address, Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the program would begin in the West particularly in Lautoka.
“We are working with the Singaporean Government to recognise the value of Government’s housing in the West particularly in the Lautoka to create affordable housing options for civil servants,” he said.
“And we all k now in that area, Singapore has a wealth of experience and we are more than happy to welcome their expertise and advise in this program.”
