2018/19 Budget: New Fiji mobile app to receive budget feedbacks

Listen to this article:

MEMBERS of the public can send questions and feedback about the 2018/2019 Budget over the new digital Fiji mobile application.

Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said this was the result of a partnership with the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise, an agency of the Singapore Government.

“We launched the digital Fiji application this month which currently makes a full Government directory available on smart devices such as mobile phones and tablets,” he said.

“It allows Fijians to communicate feedback directly to the Government and check the status of the feedback while they await a response.”

He said they expected to roll out more features on the app in months to come.

This includes services provided to the people through the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS) and the Births, Deaths and Marriage Registry.
