2017 Netball Europe championship: Fiji loss disappoints coach

Update: 3:58PM FIJI Pearls lost their second game to Wales 61-40 in the second round of the 2017 Netball Europe championship.

The Welsh ladies led in all the four quarters with 17-6 in the first quarter and 31-18 in the second quarter.

Fiji was no match for Wales with a 44-31 in the third quarter.

Coach Vicki Wilson said although it was disappointing, there were more improvements compared to their game against South Africa.

“I am disappointed with the loss but there were a number of improvements from the test series against South Africa,” Wilson said.
