FIJI Airways Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber believes his players will continue to produce the desired results despite the continuous criticism they face from fans. After winning four tournaments in the 2017/2018 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, Baber said they would continue to work hard and get the wins from the remainder of the tournaments.

Fiji registered wins in the Hamilton 7s, Vancouver 7s, Hong Kong 7s and Singapore 7s which took them to the top of the series points standing.

“The players have worked phenomenally hard and have been taking criticisms, but that is the nature of the sport and fortunately we are doing some good things at the moment,” Baber said.

“We are getting the results which we need, but it is not guaranteed to continue. We will continue to do what we need to do and focus on ourselves to get our wins.”
